Providing comfortable and professional counselling spaces for psychologists, therapists, and allied health practitioners from the Illawarra region at our Fairy Meadow location. Our suites offer a calming and private yet professionally connected environment too assist you to support your clients' wellbeing.
At Illawarra Therapy Suites, we believe that peaceful, private therapeutic spaces shouldn’t have to be costly for Psychologists, other Allied Health practitioners, Registered Counsellors and Therapists. We provide a space that feels secure but welcoming, private and autonomous but professionally connected.
Room use, electricity, wifi internet, air conditioning and a well equipped, comfortable, private and calming therapy space are all provided for one sublease fee. Please note that administrative/receptionist services, printing and fax services are not provided at this time. This is part of how we keep costs down for you.
We appreciate that one of the great benefits of renting a furnished counselling space is the limited costs involved. For this reason we have decided to limit our security deposit to apply to keys and swipe cards only ($20 deposit). Just stay two weeks in advance. Eight weeks notice prior to vacating is also required.
Need to change your ongoing booking days? No problem, we will facilitate this wherever possible (with two weeks notice).
Coaching can be provided to support you with transitioning into private practice for an additional fee if you are new to running your own solo practice. This support may be particularly beneficial to Psychologists as our experience relates best to this field.
We don't all need seven days of room use, so just pay for what you need. And simplify by accessing all our inclusions.
Our site is accessible to public transport including the free bus loop, and is close to cafe's supermarkets and GP practices, above a fully equipped Post Office, and even Guest Park is close at hand in case you or your clients are partial to walk and talk therapy (guest park also has free all day parking). There is also a community centre about 100 metres away where fully wheelchair accessible rooms can be hired (we are located up one flight of stairs).

The subleasing fees for furnished rooms at Illawarra Therapy Suites vary depending on the number of days you need and whether the booking is ongoing.
Our current rate is $100 per day plus GST for 1-3 ongoing days per week, $90 plus GST per day for 4-5 days, and $450 per week plus GST for exclusive ongoing use of one of our suites (including free weekend use).
Fortnightly ongoing bookings and one-off or temporary bookings are currently $130/day.
Illawarra Therapy Suites will provide you and your clients secure access to the suites, shared use of the waiting rooms, a private furnished suite complete with comfortable client and practitioner chairs and/or lounges, a desk and office chair to facilitate online sessions where required, a sense of security associated with having other practitioners on site at most times, regular cleaning services, high speed wifi internet connection, internal well equipped bathroom facilities, light and bright spaces with modern comfortable furniture and an ambient calming atmosphere, and air conditioning.
Illawarra Therapy Suites will generally be suited to the needs of Psychologists, other Allied Health professionals including but not limited to Mental Health Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and Dieticians, as well as clinical counsellors. It may also be suited to other therapy providers. Our first floor location offers good privacy and confidentiality to clients, and we are located approximately 100 metres from a fully accessible community centre which hires out private rooms by the hour.
Please note that Illawarra Therapy Suites reserves the right to decline a booking to a provider who is not registered or accredited in their field of practice, or for any other reason. Please note that proof of professional indemnity and public liability insurance will be required for all subleassors.
